Our principles of management
We firmly believe that the long-term solution to any problem is to deal with the cause and predisposing factors. Our experience in dealing with problems relating to sport or to work-related stresses has taught us that best results are achieved by this approach.
Your problem may vary in complexity but we try to identify all contributing factors and address them. We are very good at identifying causes and contributing factors of an existing problem and we can then address these causes to avoid recurrence. As much as we will like to see you, you will not be impressed if you have to keep coming back with a recurring issue that keeps you out of sport or work.
The main thing here is to empower you to help yourself with our guidance. Treatment with physiotherapy is a two-way agreement between you and us to get the best and quickest results.
Problems vary in complexity and with different tissues affected it will also have an impact on how long it will take to get better, but what we will strive for is quick progress, even if it’s small. If things don’t go to plan, we will refer you on to experts in the field of orthopaedics and sports injury, etc that can investigate problems further with technology such as diagnostic ultrasound and MRI. The main thing is that we are committed to getting you better not to keep you coming for treatment for a long time without success.
